From Diapers to Schoolbags – Who Is Our Kindergarten For?
From Diapers to Schoolbags – Who Is Our Kindergarten For?
Have you ever heard the phrase: “He’s too young for kindergarten.”
Or the opposite: “He’s too old here, he needs proper school prep.”
You won’t hear that from us.
We welcome all children from the age of one up to those getting ready for school. And we know that every child needs something a little different – at their own pace, in their own way, and most of all, with understanding. That’s exactly what we offer.
🐣 We Accept Children from Age 1
No, it’s not too early. And no, they don’t have to walk, talk, or wipe their nose yet.
One-year-olds are little explorers who mostly need a safe space, kind adults, and a calm rhythm. That’s exactly what they find here.
We start by getting to know each other – the child and the parent. We don’t rush. Adaptation happens gently, gradually, and with respect for the child. We want them to feel at home. And believe us, after a few weeks, they’ll be smiling more at us than at you (and you won’t even mind – because you’ll know they’re in good hands).
🐉 Little vs. Big Dragons – What’s the Difference?
Our group isn’t all the same age. But we naturally divide children – by age, needs, and interests.
We have Little Dragons – those who are just discovering everything, reaching, tasting, exploring the world with all their senses. And then we have Big Dragons – kids who are more confident in a group, can express themselves, and are eager to create, explore, and challenge themselves.
It’s not about one being “better” than the other. Every child simply needs something different – and we respect that. We tailor our program and approach to each child based on where they are. Not by birthdate, but by the child themself.
🍼 Diapers, Baby Food, Pacifiers? No Shame Here
When we say “we accept children from age one,” we often get questions like:
“Isn’t it a problem if they still wear diapers?”
“What if they’re picky eaters?”
“Can they still have a pacifier?”
The answer is simple: It’s not a problem. And yes, they can.
A child isn’t a project. They don’t come in version 2.0 with full independence installed. Each one has their own rhythm. With us, there’s no comparison – only support.
- A child in diapers? Absolutely. We’ll help when they’re ready and won’t push when they’re not.
- A selective eater? We understand. We look for solutions, not pressure.
- A pacifier at nap time? If it brings comfort – why not. Peace matters more than style.
🎒 What About Preschoolers?
No, a children’s group isn’t just “nursery extended.”
Here, children can stay until they start school – including the final year of preschool preparation. And that’s great not just for them, but also for you – because they stay in an environment they know and feel safe in.
Our preschool prep is natural, gentle, and stress-free.
No drills or tests. Instead, we focus on independence, communication, self-care, and we build attention, logic, and focus through games. And the kids don’t even realize they’re “learning.”
Most importantly – they learn with joy, not out of fear of a red sticker.
🎯 Every Child Is Unique. And That’s How We Work
Some join us at 15 months. Others at five years old.
Some don’t speak yet, others never stop talking. One is a quiet observer, the other a whirlwind with rockets in their shoes.
We don’t put children into boxes. We see them.
And that’s how we work with them – sensitively, humanly, and with respect.
So Who Is This For?
- For babies with pacifiers and preschoolers with backpacks.
- For kids who smile at everyone, and those who need time.
- For parents looking for a calm, safe, and natural place for their child.
If this sounds like the kind of place you’re looking for, get in touch with us. We’d love to show you how things work here – and why kids not only love coming to us, but also love staying.
